You never know what a day in Guatemala may hold. Today it was moving objects from one storage area to another. Wasn't Jeremiah creative in his moving skills?
Don't fall Andy!
Andy and Zach fixed the roof over the newly transformed teacher's lounge. They will be so surprised on Monday when school starts!
And the kitchen renovations continue. Putting poly urethane on the doors and draws takes great skill and team work. Tonight we got high praise from the Jeffe (boss man, Mike). We were told that it was like a factory finish.
The painting crew; Jeremiah, Katie, Deb, and Josh. That is a very blue room!
After lunch fun!
Isn't Marvin a strong boy?! Just too cute.
Most evenings the older kids and Gringo's play knock out (basketball), soccer, and can jam (frisbee game) after dinner.
Jordy and Adam are "horsing" around.
We had a fire tonight to get rid of some scraps. There isn't much that isn't recycled but burning is how Guatemalans get rid of what they don't recycle. Some of the things they burn would make EPA cringe.
Tomorrow is our last day at the home. We will all miss the beauty of Guatemala and of course the children.
